This online course over two types of classes: Pre-Filing Bankruptcy Credit Counseling and Pre-Discharge Debtor Education. The counseling class cost $30 and the education class cost $25.
The course is available over the phone or online. We suggest taking the courses online due to the fact that they can take 1 hour or more to complete. Payments can be made by debit card, credit card, ACH or money orders. If you’re a married couple filing together you will only be charged once for each course. Once the course is completed you will receive a certificate. The Pre-filing Credit Counseling certificate expires 6 months from the date issued.
