Class Action Settlement News

Another TV promotion contest is under fire.  The Deal or No Deal Lucky Case Game is the topic of this class action lawsuit styled Herbert, et al. v. Endemol, et al.  The Deal or No Deal lucky case game was promoted during the time frame of December 2005 to February 2008.  The game allowed a contestant to enter by text.  If you paid a premium fee for the text entry you could be a class member of the Deal or No Deal Lucky Case Game Class Action Lawsuit.  The lawsuit claims that this was nothing gore than an illegal lottery that was in violation of California and Massachusetts law!

The case is in the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division.  There is no due date for claim forms as of yet and claim forms are not being accepted as of now.

A claim form can be submitted in one of three ways once available.

2. You can call toll free 877-248-5358 after the claims period starts and file over the phone
3. You can file a claim form electronically through the Deal or No Deal Lucky Case Game Class Action Settlement website (LuckyCaseGameSettlement.com).

A fairness hearing will be hedl on 12-09-11 to determine if the settlement is fair and reasonable.  The hearing will be held at 255 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 at the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

If you do nothing you will not be eligible for any settlement terms.
