A class action lawsuit has been filed claiming that Coventry Health Care of Kansas violated Missouri law and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act or ERISA when they imposed certain copayments for prescription drugs to individuals under the Coventry Missouri HMO plan. The lawsuit is in the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. The honorable Judge David Gregory Kay will reside over the case. If you or someone you know received a settlement notice in the mail you might be a class member of this lawsuit. If between the dates of 05-30-98 to 10-31-10 you paid a copay for a covered prescription drug which exceeded 50% of Coventry’s total cost of purchasing that drug it is advised you read more into the Coventry Kansas Settlement Lawsuit.
