The US Army provides over 5,000 web-based courses in Business, Leadership, IT and Personal Development to help assist soldiers in their education and well-being.  Please note that only Active Army, Army National Guard, Army Reservists, Army ROTC Cadet III and IV, and Dept of Army civilians are authorized to use usarmy.skillport.com.  Internet Explorer, FireFox and Safari are all web browsers that are compatible with usarmy.skillport.com.  There is not a cost associated with the courses and you must get a 70% or better in order to pass.  There is no time limit to complete any given course and upon completion you will receive a course certificate assuming you pass with a 70% or higher. 

Students’ will receive the course certificate at their AKO email address within 3-5 days of completing the course. The certificate can be printed by checking on the My Progress link; click on the Completion Tab; and then the certificate icon next to the course title.  To find a list of ALL courses provided by the Army eLearning program please check the login page at usarmy.skillport.com page and click on the “view a listing of courses offered” wording on the left hand side of the page. 

Please note that there are 40 SkillSoft courses that might qualify for college credit.  Many University’s accept the courses towards a degree but it is ultimately up to the individual college to make the rule.  Please check with your college admissions staff for more information.  Some examples of courses offered include: The Mechanics of Communicating Effectively, Participating Effectively in a Business Meeting, Advanced Database Design in Access 2002, RFID Technology and Business Applications, Strategies for Better Balance and Communication Skills to Fast-track Your Career.  As you can see the course provided a broad spectrum of learning.  Your password at usarmy.skillport.com is different from your AKO Password.

Check out the document center from American Express which allows a user to submit and upload a variety of different documents online.  In order to use www.americanexpress.com/documentcenter you must be a customer and have a credit card with American Express.  You will need your credit card information and you will be asked to create a user ID.  The site is really easy to use and provides any documents you need as an American Express customer. If you have any questions, concerns or need assistance with setting up your Card account please call toll-free 1-800-AXP-1234 and a friendly American Express customer service agent will assist you.

Visit HRSAccount CompUSA to login or register for online customer care account associated with your CompUsa Card.  Once enrolled a customer can make a payment, view past statements, view account balances and history, sign up for email alerts, and much more!  To enroll online you will need the following: the account number, the card holder name, customers date of birth, customers ssn, a valid email address and you will be asked to create a username and password.  If you already a user of the site just sign in with your username and password.  If you change your email address please notify customer service immediately.  By enrolling in Online Customer Care at www.hrsaccount.com/compusa and providing an email address, you agree to receive information and authorize CompUSA to communicate with you electronically at the email address provided.

www.shellmc.accountonline.com provides credit card account access online for customers of Shell Credit Cards.  A user can update account information, view and print recent statements, and pay your bill online.  To register for an account please have a copy of your most recent billing statement, an email address, and a valid bank checking account.  To add another card, please sign on to your existing account and select “Add another card to this User ID” on Account Home.  The site is very easy to use and the following card are eligible.

EBT Account information is available at www.ebtaccount.jpmorgan.com.  The site is simple to use and a customer of JP Morgan can check their balance, update account information, change pin numbers, review and print recent account statements, and contact customer service.  The site requires Adobe Reader and is available in English and Spanish.  Any problems or concerns can be directed to toll-free (866) 352-5878. 

All first time users will be required to register for an account.  To register please have your Card Number and your Personal Identification Number (PIN) on hand.  With the User ID and Password sign-on mode, you will no longer need to login with card number and PIN, instead you can select a user name of your choice such as “JohnSmith” and a friendly password.

VZW MyAccount Analysis allows a customer to check and manage your Verizon minutes and messages, change or reset your voice mail password, sign up for auto pay, change plans, purchase ringtones and manage ringback tones, upgrade to a new phone and access MyVerizon on your mobile phone.  The site is fairly simple to use and you will have to login with your User ID or Cell Phone number.  A valid email address will be needed for those who are registering for the first time.
