www.KhalilpourSettlement.com – Verizon Wireless Unlimited Class Action Settlement

Verizon Wireless is the center of another class action lawsuit.  This time they are under fire in relation to the Unlimited Get It Now games for cell phones.  The lawsuit claims that Verizon did not properly disclose that a subscriber of the Get It No could not transfer the games downloaded onto one handset to a subsequent handset free of charge.  The lawsuit is entitled Khalilpour v. Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless, Class Action Case No. C 09-02712 RS and is in the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, San Francisco.  KhalilpourSettlement.com provides a class member with the claim form and other relevant court documents.  You could be a class member of the Verizon Wireless Unlimited Class Action Settlement if you purchased a Unlimited Get It Now game(s) on a handset and subsequently purchased one or more new handsets that were activated on the same mobile telephone between the dates of 01/01/04 to 06/22/12.  This is just many of a long list of class action lawsuit against Verizon Wireless.  For some reason this company has a knack for finding its way into the court room.  VW denies any actions of wrong doing in the case but has agreed to settle.

The settlement amount any one class member will receive depends on proof of purchase and other factors.  You will receive $15 if you submit a claim certifying that you think you bought a game under the Unlimited Get It Now game program.  Up $35 will be provided if you submit a timely claim form certifying that bought into the program and provide a list of games you bought.  If you submit a claim form with proof of purchase you will get the total amount of money spent of the games back for which proofs of purchase are provided.

A settlement fairness hearing will be held to determine of these settlement terms are fair and reasonable.  The hearing will take place on 1:30 p.m. on November 1, 2012 in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, San Francisco Division, Courtroom 3.  The address of this court room is 450 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, California, 94102.  All claim forms will be due within 180 days of final settlement approval.
