If you purchased a Target brand Immunity Supplement product (“immunity Supplement” or “Immune System Support”) between the dates of December 31, 2003 to October 24, 2011 you are considered a class member of the Target Immunity Supplement lawsuit settlement. The case is entitled Buehlhorn v. Target Corporation and is in the jurisdiction of the Circuit Court for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, St. Clair County, Illinois. The crux of the lawsuit revolves around claims that Target falsely advertised that its generic cold medicine Immunity Supplement products would help in treating or preventing colds when it did anything but according to the claimants. Customers claim the product was ineffective at treating and preventing colds. Target denies any action of wrong doing but has agreed to settlement terms.
In order to participate in the settlement you MUST file a claim form. All claim forms are due by January 23, 2012. All exclusion request must be in by December 8, 2011 and mailed to: Immunity Supplement Settlement Administrator, P.O. Box 2564, Faribault MN 55021-9564. The court will hold a fairness hearing on January 17, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. to decide if the settlement is fair and reasonable. The hearing will take place at the Circuit Court for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, St. Clair County, Illinois, St. Clair County Courthouse, 10 Public Square, Belleville, Illinois 62220.
The proposed settlement terms include up to two vouchers worth $5 off a purchase of $20 or more at any Target store. The claim form can be found at the Target Immunity Supplement Class Action Lawsuit Settlement administrators website and requires Adobe Reader be installed in order to view and print the form.
